Role Overview
The selected candidate will work on end to end fixed asset accounting processes including capitalization, depreciation, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The role also provides exposure to SAP systems, SOX controls, and multinational accounting environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and impairments in SAP
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close activities
• Prepare fixed asset reconciliations and flux analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and SOX controls
• Support internal and statutory audits with schedules and documentation
• Coordinate with AP, GL, and business teams on accounting processes
• Work on automation and process improvement initiatives
Additional Requirements
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Good understanding of accounting standards and processes
• Exposure to SAP preferred
• Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced multinational environment
• Team oriented and professional approach
Preferred Skills
• Multi GAAP accounting exposure
• Shared service center experience
• Experience with multinational companies will be an added advantage
