CSM India is hiring a Finance Manager to lead the Finance and Compliance function for its India office. This full time role reports to the Group CFO and is based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. Role Overview
You will own statutory compliance, financial reporting, tax matters, corporate filings, and internal controls for CSM India, while ensuring alignment with group policies and global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage statutory compliance and taxation, covering GST, TDS, professional tax, and income tax
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns and payments
- Oversee FEMA and RBI related compliances for cross border and forex transactions
- Handle ROC, MCA filings, and Companies Act related compliances
- Maintain books and financial records in line with Indian GAAP and group reporting standards
- Lead month end, quarter end, and year end close, and prepare financial statements
- Support internal and statutory audits, and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
- Oversee payroll statutory compliance including PF, ESI, gratuity, and other labor law requirements
- Monitor cash flow, banking operations, fund transfers, and treasury controls
- Develop and maintain internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance policies
- Provide MIS, forecasts, financial analysis, and advise management on financial risks and statutory changes
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
Desired Profile
- Chartered Accountant preferred, with five to seven years post qualification experience in finance, accounts, taxation, and regulatory compliances
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, FEMA and RBI regulations, ROC and MCA processes
- Experience in audits and direct interactions with auditors and tax authorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global finance teams
- Prior experience in an MNC or foreign subsidiary is an advantage
